Analyzing Qualitative ( In Person)

  • CTDATA 10 Constitution Plaza Hartford, CT, 06103 United States (map)

Most professionals have access to qualitative data that can help inform our work, but we may not even realize it. Once we find our qualitative data, we then may struggle with how to categorize it so that we can glean useful insights to inform our work. This workshop will provide general guidelines and practices in analyzing qualitative data and will provide you with the knowledge and skills to help you more confidently gather insights from your qualitative data.

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Know what qualitative data is and where it comes from.

  • Prepare and manage qualitative data.

  • Analyze qualitative data.

  • Generate and compile insights from qualitative data analysis.

After attending this workshop you will have the skills you need to begin analyzing qualitative data.

Covid Protocol

This workshop will be held in the CTData office space at Trinity College Action Lab. In keeping with Trinity College’s COVID protocols, attendees must wear a mask and show a vaccination card to enter.

A note about the fee:

Workshops build skills, clear up confusion, and enhance professional development, but you didn’t need us to tell you that. Studies have found that by charging a small fee, it increases the likelihood that you will attend this workshop and reap the benefits of the training. For this reason, we charge a small fee to cover the cost of parking and food. However, if you are truly unable to pay the fee, please contact Sarah (sarah@ctdata.org) to attend this training free of charge.
