Centering Equity in Data Integration | Equity in Data Community of Practice
We were joined by Susan Smith from the Department of Social Services and Pauline Zaldonis from the State of Connecticut Office of Policy and Management for our Equity in Data Community of Practice. During this session, we learned how state agencies are incorporating equity practices as they integrate their data. Our speakers shared their Data Privacy and Protection Equity Assessment tool, which was designed to assess and ensure data projects align with ethical standards. During this interactive discussion, participants were able to ask questions, share their experiences, and brainstorm strategies for incorporating equity into their own data projects.
