The availability of public data is more critical than ever for making informed decisions, understanding our communities, and evaluating the impact of our programs and services. However, many people are unaware of the existence of public data, don't know where to find it, or how to make sense of it. During this workshop, we will provide a comprehensive overview of publicly available data.
By the end of this session, you will:
Learn what public data are, where to find them, and how they're collected
Recognize the value of public data from state and federal sources
Access data and learn how to download it for your exploration
