We seek to connect people like you with data that will help you make informed decisions. We also seek to engage the people most affected by the decisions in the data exploration when possible. Some of the ways you can connect to data:

• Explore data through interactive data projects on various topics relating to health, Hartford neighborhoods, civic engagement, women & girls, and more.

• Attend an events or workshop where you can connect with other data users and learn about new ideas and strategies.

• Read through our analysis and research to gain insight of the meaning behind the data.

• Analyze raw data yourself, and access geographic crosswalks so you can create useful and compelling data analysis. We also offer many census data resources.

• Get coaching and technical assistance through Data Strategic Planning so you can create a plan to improve your data processes and better use the data you have.

• Hire us to work with your team to identify your specific data needs and create a project that helps you achieve your data goals.

• Sign up for a workshop to increase your own data skills.

• If you’re a youth from Hartford, apply to be one of our 2024 Data Fellows.

• Apply ethical principles through your information and data collection by joining the Hartford Data Collaborative Memorandum of Understanding (for Hartford organizations).

• Learn about how others are applying equitable data principles through the monthly Equity in Data Community of Practice.
