Data Resources
The products developed by CPES and its prevention partners include presentations, fact sheets, maps, charts, and other graphic representations of data, as well as guidance and resource documents. Products are provided with the goal of making data accessible to all users, regardless of their data skills or knowledge.

CT DPH website page with active links to CT’s Monthly Drug Overdose Death Reports and Opioid Overdose Data Fact Sheets by year. The page also has information on and a link to the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) Drug Overdose Deaths in Connecticut Data Dashboard, 2015 to 2025, an interactive data dashboard exploring unintentional drug overdose deaths in CT.
DrugfreeCT Substance Info: Other Drugs (Opioids)
DrugFreeCT website substance information page on other drugs, including tiles on fentanyl, heroin, and polysubstance use. Information includes an overview on each substance, and information on effects, overdose, addiction, treatment, and special topic tiles on CT prevalence and trends and other topics of interest.

Connecticut School Health Survey (CSHS)
Connecticut’s version of the CDC Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) that captures data on health behaviors as well as school and social environments among Connecticut high school students in grades 9 to 12.
CT Department of Public Health (DPH) Injury Prevention Surveillance System
Surveillance system managed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) Office of Injury and Violence Prevention that tracks injury trends to inform efforts to prevent intentional and unintentional injuries across Connecticut.
DataHaven Community Wellbeing Survey (DCWS)
A statewide community-focused survey of CT residents, conducted by DataHaven, that assesses various indicators, such as health behaviors, quality of life indicators, and indicators related to social determinants of health. Results are analyzed by demographic groups as well as community types, using the Five Connecticuts typology.
National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH)
An annual, nationally representative survey conducted across US states, which also contains Connecticut state-level data on substance use, mental health, and treatment needs and utilization.
