Bridgeport Baby Bundle

Background: Rapid Cycle TA from the CT Data Collaboration Partnership

Bridgeport Prospers, through the United Way of Coastal Fairfield County, contracted with the CT Data Collaborative to assist in data collection, analytics and development related to the Bridgeport Baby Bundle and its Pritzker Children’s Initiative Community Innovation Grant in 2021 and 2022. This page documents the data convening that CTData has facilitated as part of this work.

The Bridgeport Baby Bundle is focused on improving child and family outcomes during the prenatal to age three period. Prior data for Bridgeport revealed that three of four children enrolled in Head Start at age three did not consistently demonstrate age expected development outcomes.

The Pritzker initiative is focused on young children living in families with low income, with special attention to families of color. For this work, young children and families enrolled Connecticut’s Medicaid Program constitute the target population.

All of this work links to the Baby Bundle’s Core Community Strategy #6. The theory of change and other background documents can be found or at the bottom of this page.

The final report for the Rapid Cycle TA in 2021 can be accessed here.
