The map below shows estimated people by census block group (areas of approximately 600–3,000 people) who are eligible to vote, but not registered. Unlike our other map that uses census data to estimate the number of eligible voters in a census block group, this map was created by adding information about applicants of DMV products (licenses, renewals, and photo IDs) who were not registered and declined to register to vote.

About The Map

Block groups with darker shades of blue represent places with a larger number of non-registered voters. Hover or tap over areas to see the aggregated number of individuals registered with the DMV, but not yet registered to vote. Use the search tool in the upper-left corner to find addresses in Connecticut.

This map can be used to locate areas of low voter registration to identify areas of opportunity for voter registration efforts. We do not recommend using this map to report the absolute number of non-registered voters in a particular area given limitations of the DMV data.
