Impacts of Legalized Gambling in CT: 2024 Report

Report developed by Gemini Research for the CT Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) based on their 2023 study on the impacts of legalized gambling in CT. Released in January 2024, the report explores social, health, economic, and financial impacts and reviews the adequacy of problem gambling prevention and treatment services in CT.

Connecticut’s version of the CDC Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) that captures data on health behaviors as well as school and social environments among Connecticut high school students in grades 9 to 12.

Results of a 2023 mixed methods study conducted by Gemini Research for CT DMHAS on the social, health, economic, and financial impacts of legalized gambling in CT, and the adequacy of prevention and treatment services to serve the state.

Youth Voices Count Survey (YVCS)

A voluntary, anonymous online survey of students in grades 6–12, conducted in many Connecticut communities by B. Weyland Smith Consulting. Administered every 2 years, the survey captures student input regarding substance use, mental health, school climate, and gambling.
